LVT touches upon the possible interaction of statements formed within a Dialogue meeting, a data set known to Logo Visual Thinking (LVT) as the Gathering of molecules of meaning (a.k.a. semantic units). LVT emerged, from intermediate steps, in the context J.G. Bennett’s work on creative thinking and Dialogue emerged from Bohm’s work on quantum mechanics. Here, a process model gleaned from Gurdjieff’s Enneagram, and further interpreted by Bennett, has been used to see how LVT could extend the Dialogue process using post-processing familiar to LVT. The numbers are points on the enneagram (a diagram of which is over the page).
- Dialogue becomes possible amongst people whose spiritualizing efforts have led to insights with an implicate order, garnered from their experiences. Line 1-4
- Insights lead to an expansion of concrete articulations which can enter into Dialogue and new types of work. Line 2-8
- The Dialogue has no initial subject, that is, in LVT Stage no Focus.
- Within the dramatic trajectory of dialogue identifiable statements of meaning can be gleaned. line 4-2. LVT stage called Gather
- the interaction between statements is an organised energy beyond the group’s present moment. Line 5-8. LVT Stage called Organise.
- LVT could extend the present moment of Dialogue.
- LVT can concentrate the energetic molecules of meaning to work on revealing higher levels of meaning, to feedback to the group. Line 7-1. LVT Stage Integrate.
- New types of freedom for the group may emerge out of a Dialogue. Line 8-5. LVT Stage Realise.
- A renewed sense of shared purpose for the group.
